"Epitaph" ist das zweite und letzte Studioalbum der deutschen Death-Metal-Band Necrophagist und wurde am 3. August 2004 von Relapse Records verÃ¶ffentlicht. Im Gegensatz zu "Onset of Putrefaction" nahm Gitarrist und SÃ¤nger Muhammed SuiÃ§mez das Album mit einer kompletten Band auf, anstatt es alleine einzuspielen. Der Gitarrist Christian MÃ¼nzner, der spÃ¤ter die Band verlieÃ? und sich Obscura anschloss, bestÃ¤tigte, dass er mindestens die HÃ¤lfte der Leadgitarrenparts und einige Basslinien auf dem Album geschrieben hat, auch wenn diese nicht genannt werden. Der Track "Only Ash Remains" enthÃ¤lt die Melodie des "Montagues und Capulets"-Segments aus dem Ballett Romeo und Julia von Sergei Prokofiev. -
