Description:Belgrad 1941:
Während der Besatzung der Deutschen verstecken sich Partisanenfamilien in einem unterirdischen Bunkerlabyrinth. Dort stellen sie Waffen für den Widerstand her, die der Schwarzmarktkönig Marko weiter vermittelt. Die Geschäfte laufen blendend für Marko, außerdem wird er als patriotischer Helfer der Partisanen gefeiert. Um die Waffenproduktion nach Kriegsende aufrecht zu erhalten, lässt er die Flüchtlinge im Untergrund in dem Glauben, die Deutschen wären weiter an der Macht. Er spielt ihnen fiktive Rundfunkberichte über den Siegeszug der Nazis zu, während er als reicher Herr einer riesigen Waffenfabrik Karriere macht. Zwanzig Jahre später gelangen ein paar der betrogenen Partisanen nach draußen.
