Dave Mustaine is a tireless generator of ideas, having launched his "Super Collider" again did not lose face. Although the mood of the album is extremely positive and bright, the songs still retain the same anguish and emotionality. You won't hear any particularly spectacular riffs or high-speed solos here. Super Collider is dominated by melody. She looked into the groovy action movie “Kingmaker”, filled the light life-affirming “Super Collider” with a kind of cheerfulness and beauty, compensating for the simplicity and turning the song into a hit. She also embroidered the brilliant "Dance in the Rain" with her patterns, making it one of the best compositions on the album, and full of despair Forget to Remember, and the energetic "Don't Turn Your Back", for the beautiful blues introduction to which Dave Mustaine, as a composer , deserves the highest mark. In the rest of the songs, you can also find something attractive, they cannot be called completely passable, and one cannot fail to notice the obvious contrast between middle peasants and hits. Fortunately, there were a lot of worthy songs on the album. "Super Collider" is quite a good and high quality work, which, I think, needs only a little time to be appreciated and to take a well-deserved place in Megadeth's discography. The group has once again shown its worth to write good material and create good music. This release, however, should not be compared with anything. For those who did not like it, I propose to listen to it again, abstracting from previous expectations, without looking back at any stylistic canons and without prejudice. And then, perhaps, this album will bloom in your eyes and sparkle with new interesting colors.

I don't really like this Megadeth work with all due respect to the legacy of this band. The album was written as if through effort, without fire and inspiration.

The greatest disappointment of 2013. I don't have more to say. Many consider this album to be worse than Risk. Although there are some good moments.
