Description:Sie sind die Väter aller schrägen Polizei-Paare: Der
kleine, untersetzte, energische Toody (Joe E. Ross) und
der große, hagere, ruhige Muldoon (Fred Gwynne) fahren
zusammen Streife im New Yorker 53. Bezirk. Dabei kommen
sie immer wieder in abstruse Situationen und machen alles
nur noch schlimmer. Und auch Toodys temperamentvolle Frau
Lucille und das befreundete Ehepaar Schnauser sorgen mit
ihren Kabbeleien dafür, dass es den beiden nicht
langweilig wird... Kauzige, aber liebenswerte Charaktere,
spritzige Dialoge und eine gute Portion Slapstick machten
die erste Polizei-Sitcom der Fernsehgeschichte zum
Publikums-Hit. Fred Gwynne und Al Lewis (Officer
Schnauser) trafen sich als Herman und Opa in Die Munsters
wieder. Lange nicht mehr in Deutschland zu sehen, kommt
die Kultserie nun in 2 Staffelboxen komplett auf DVD
inklusive der legendären Weihnachtsfolge, die hierzulande
noch nie gezeigt wurde.
