Description:
Sie sind die Väter aller schrägen Polizei-Paare: Der kleine, untersetzte, energische Toody (Joe E. Ross) und der große, hagere, ruhige Muldoon (Fred Gwynne) fahren zusammen Streife im New Yorker 53. Bezirk. Dabei kommen sie immer wieder in abstruse Situationen und machen alles nur noch schlimmer. Und auch Toodys temperamentvolle Frau Lucille und das befreundete Ehepaar Schnauser sorgen mit ihren Kabbeleien dafür, dass es den beiden nicht langweilig wird... Kauzige, aber liebenswerte Charaktere, spritzige Dialoge und eine gute Portion Slapstick machten die erste Polizei-Sitcom der Fernsehgeschichte zum Publikums-Hit.
