Tolk Tolk is one of my favorite bands in general. It's a shame that this group has only released 5 albums. And this is their second album, which was released in 1984. The musical style is difficult to characterize. Here you can find art-rock, synth-pop, and a new wave. Also the peculiar voice of vocalist Mark Hollis. It's a pity that he is no longer with us ...

At their commercial peak Talk Talk in this album started to experiment with new sounds and led the way for their next prog pop album.
