| | Description: | Als die Barsämgerin Deloris Zeugin wird, wie ihr Freund, der Mafiaboss Vince, einen Feind kaltblütig ermorden läßt, muß sie untertauchen. Der verantwortliche Polizist bringt sie an den Ort unter, wo man zuallerletzt nach ihr suchen würde: einem Konvent in San Francisco. Nur schwer gelingt es der genußsüchtigen Ulknudel, sich an das Askese-Leben der Nonnen zu gewöhnen. Doch als ihr die Leitung des Kirchenchores übertragen wird, blühen Deloris und die Schwestern sichtlich auf. Schnell genießt der Chor lokale Berühmtheit.
