This version of Cape Town Beats comes as a 3xCD. - W/GODESSA/TONE DEAF JUNKIES/FELIX LABAND/MARKUS WORMSTO2008 three CD digipak release, the results as well of years of contacts between Jarring Effects and the pioneer Cape town label African Dope resisting to the insipid R&B invasion in South Africa. Not only discovering new talented artists, African Dope is an alternative company supporting and guiding many new labels. Among this turmoil scene, Jarring Effects has selected tracks gathering Hip-Hop, massive ragga, break electronica with jazz and funk influences, the whole remaining homogeneous, thanks to a steady sense of groove on which creative and conscious MC's put their flow. Sibot aka DJ Fuck is the symbolic character of the box whose he wrote 39 of the total 53 tracks. Ranking among the most prolific underground artists of South Africa, that dabbler is musician, DJ, renowned turntablist, arranger, producer and cornerstone of many innovative projects as well.CD1: Capetown Beats vol.1
