| | Description: | Düster, spannend und in das charakteristische CSI-Blau getränkt: Die dritte Staffel von CSI: New York bietet nicht nur knallharte Kriminalfälle sondern entwickelt die exzellent gezeichneten Charaktere weiter und zieht den Zuschauer so noch tiefer in ihren Bann. Mac (Gary Sinise) und sein Team haben wieder allerhand zu tun: Sie ermitteln u.a. im Fall einer kopflosen Frauenleiche, die an einem Deckenventilator hängt. Ein anderer Fall führt sie zu einem abgestürzten Fallschirmspringer, in dessen Schirm sich ein Schwarm toter Sporttauben verfangen hat. Die junge forensische Wissenschaftlerin Lindsay Monroe (Anna Belknap), bekannt durch ihre streng seriöse Arbeitsmoral, gerät derweil immer wieder mit dem eher unzuverlässigen Det. Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo) aneinander, der seine eigenen Gründe hat, die Kollegin immer wieder herauszufordern. Doch auch Lindsay umhüllt ein dunkles Geheimnis über ihre wahre Motivation für den Umzug nach New York City. Ein Anruf ihrer alten Heimat reißt alte Wunden auf und Lindsay steht plötzlich im Mittelpunkt eines alten Mordfalls. Mysteriös geht es auch im Fall eines als Ritter verkleideten Börsenmaklers zu, dessen Bauch von einer Lanze durchbohrt wurde.
