This album stands out very much from the usual forms of Watain music. Of course, they do not change themselves here, but the work is mature, complex and opens up other facets of the group’s creativity. In the year of release, the release was strongly scolded, and it is probably still the most serious in discography.

Watain “The Wild Hunt” has everything required to please a black metal fan. Watain have tried not to repeat the same thing again, and they are successful in this offering too. The listener should have the devotion to make this ritual a complete one. Recommended.
