Description:

Rachsucht, Ehebruch, verschmähte Liebe oder Erpressung - auf der Volume 7 dringt Inspector Barnaby gewohnt besonnen in die menschlichen Abgründe vor. In Der Krieg der Witwen wird es dann auch wieder bizarr und skurril - ein Markenzeichen der Erfolgsserie. Der reiche Lebemann Freddy Butler holt sich seine beiden Ex-Frauen Annabel und Lucinda in sein Schloss, um mit ihnen und seiner aktuellen Frau Tara zu leben. Inspector Barnaby hat in der Grafschaft Midsomer also wieder reichlich zu tun.
