Description:	Morgan, ein Bilderbuchathlet und die Hauptperson in Michael D. Akers neuer schwuler Liebesgeschichte, war preisgekrönter Basketballspieler und Radrennfahrer. Nach einem Unfall ist er querschnittsgelähmt. Der Gedanke, nie mehr aktiv am Sport teilnehmen zu können, raubt ihm alle Kraft und Lebensfreude. Da trifft er Dean - und alles ändert sich. Die beiden führen lange Gespräche, gehen aus, lernen sich kennen - und lieben. Morgan bringt Dean dazu, mit ihm für genau das Rennen zu trainieren, bei dem er fast tödlich verunglückt wäre. Zerrissen zwischen seinem Wunsch, das Rennen zu gewinnen und seiner Sehnsucht nach Liebe, versucht Morgan sich seinen Ängsten zu stellen. Doch als Dean merkt, dass Morgan lieber erneut sein Leben aufs Spiel setzt, statt auf seine Warnungen zu hören, verlässt er ihn.
