Description:Die beiden Brüder Werner und Richard Ritchie Mark, beide
Schriftsteller, werden während der Kriegs- und
Nachkriegszeit zu Todfeinden. Während der talentiertere
Werner nach dem Krieg aufgrund seiner Nähe zum NS-Regime
Schreibverbot bekommen hat und nun ehemalige
Nationalsozialisten vor der Entdeckung schützt, betreibt
Ritchie zusammen mit dem Juden Boris Minski ein Striplokal
und versucht als Schriftsteller zu alter Form zurück zu
finden. Der scheinbare Mord- oder Selbstmordversuch an
Lillian Lombard, die im Leben beider Brüder eine große
Rolle spielt, lässt sich deren Wege erneut kreuzen und
stürzt sie in einen perfiden Kampf um Leben und Tod.
