Celebrating twenty-five years of the ultra-heavy beat, KMFDM proudly announce their new album of eleven new sonic blasts, tipping the scales at over 52 minutes. Under the direction of founder, leader, and vocalist Sascha K., BLITZ is dominated by analogue synthetics with high-powered hooks, singer Lucia lends her vocal power, and the tracks are rounded out by some assistance from the KMFDM line-up of the last half decade: Jules Hodgson, Andy Selway, and Steve White.
Comes in a jewel case with a sticker on it and a 16 page booklet. Recorded, mixed* & produced at KommandoZentrale*, Hamburg, The Black Lab Studio*, Seattle, The Unabomber Shack, Studio City. Chris Shepard recorded Cheryl Wilson at Chicago Recording Company, Chicago. Mastered at Bernie Grundman Mastering, Hollywood. Post Production Coordination: Vibrent Management. Made in the USSA. The title of track 1 is just a non-standard symbol on the release. At the band's homepage and the KMFDM store homepage the track appears as '(Symbol)'. The title 'Up Uranus' appears when this CD is played with an audio player that is connected to the internet. In addition it can be figured out from the lyrics, where said symbol appears as well.
