Description:

A live recording featuring several of the most important members of the Clarke-Boland Big Band, here performing as a sextet. The group, a mix of stellar European and ex-patriot American jazz musicians, lean into Latin rhythms on cuts including 'Con Alma, Serenata and Insensatez, among others. Recorded at the old Rolandseck railway station in Germany on September 25th, 1965, during a party honoring the great French mime Marcel Marceau.

Digitally remastered from the original master tapes. Replica of the original CBS LP: [r=987628]. First pressing, 180 gram special edition of 500 copies with bonus CD and OBI. There is also a repress 140 gram of 300 copies without CD and without OBI. Originally Recorded at Rolandseck Train Station, Germany, September 25th, 1965. 600 guests were invited to Marcel Marceau´s party near old river Rhine.
