Inspired by their predecessors: The Grateful Dead, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Railroad Earth and Yonder Mountain String Band, Boris Garcia has cleverly twisted the free-form spirit of the Jam Band scene with folk, jazz, blues and the joyous fluidity of Bluegrass music to forge their own sound: Jam Grass.
