Alafia by Sidi Toure, released 12 September 2013, includes the following tracks: "L`Eau : The Water", "La Paix : Peace", "Annour El Sahel : The Light Of Sahel", "Mali" and more. This version of Alafia comes as a 1xCD. -

2013 release, the third international release from the Malian songwriter and guitarist, his most focused recording to date. This follows last year's critically-lauded Koïma and 2011's revelatory debut Sahel Folk. With attention from NPR, SPIN and Pitchfork, among others, Touré's musical identity has fully come into it's own.

Recorded by Askwell in Nantes, France, in December 2012 at Upupa Land, except backing vocals, flute, Baba Salah and Kolos recorded by Yaya Touré in Studio Yeleen, in Bamako, Mali, in April 2013.
