This is one of the best albums of Michael Shenker for me! The vocal of G. Bonnet is great! Shenker mixed neoclassical passages with blues phrases. Wonderful music!

This is a belter of an album. Gary Barden on vocals has been replaced by Graham Bonnet (ex Rainbow/Acatrazz). Cozy Powell on drums has been replaced by Ted McKenna. Chris Glen remains on Bass. This change in vocal line up has resulted in a much heavier album. The opener Assault Attack sets the tone for the rest of the album and is such a great opener that Michael still plays this song in his live set. Rock you to the ground is next and slow paced rocker ends with some glorious guitar playing from Michael. Dancer up next and this was a single at the time, the b-side was a song called Girl from Uptown which is the last song on most of the versions of this album. Samurai quickens the pace and the guitar solo in middle and ends shows why we metal heads think Michael is in a class of his own. Desert Song/ Broken Promises and Searching for a Reason show Bonnet at his best, his vocals growling across the songs . Ulcer is a fast instrumental from Michael blasting his Flying V through your speakers he is in total command. The album is a step in a different direction for Michael but definetly a good one.
