Companionship Vol.2 is an album by Sahib Shihab, released in 2008. The album is a jazz CD. -

Originally released 1971 on the German label Vogue LDVS 17243. Sahib Shihab is listed as the main artist. Other musicians listed as "Featuring" on the front cover are: Kenny Clarke, Benny Bailey, Francy Boland, Milt Jackson, Åke Persson, Jimmy Woode. Tracks 1, 2 recorded in Cologne, 1964/1965. Tracks 3, 4, 6, 8, 10 recorded in Cologne, July 1970. Track 5 recorded in Cologne, May 8th & 9th 1964. Track 7, 11, 12 and 14 to 20 recorded in the "Alten Bahnhof Von Rolandseck", September 25th 1965 (originally appearing on the Clarke Boland Sextett - Swing Im Bahnhof LP (CBS 62681)). Track 9 recorded at Lindström Studios Cologne on August 13th, 1968. It is a slightly shorter version than the August 27th, 1968 recording in the same studio which appeared on the Johnny Griffin "Foot Patting" album. Track 13 recorded at Electrola Studio Cologne, February 2nd, 1969.
