Double vinyl LP pressing in gatefold sleeve. 2013 collection from the British Indie/Twee band. Was It Just a Dream? contains all of their single and radio session tracks, plus live versions of two songs of which no studio recordings exist ("Pastels Badge" and "Rubber Ball") and a flexi-disc track ("I Told You So"). The album features all the contents of their deleted Backwash collection and adds additional demos.

Tracks A5 to A7 produced and engineered at WSRS, Royal Leamington Spa. Tracks B1 to B3 produced and engineered at Union Street Studios, Oxford. Tracks B7 to C3 originally broadcast on the Janice Long Show, 7th August 1986. Tracks C4 to C8 originally broadcast on the John Peel Show, 11 January 1988. Track D1 recorded at Waterfall, Oxford. Track D2 recorded live at Talulah Gosh's debut gig, Worcester College, Oxford, 7th march 1986. Track D3 recorded live at the ICA, London 25th June 1987.
