Descripción:Im Frühjahr 1971 verließen die Rolling Stones als Steuerflüchtlinge ihre Heimat England und siedelten nach Frankreich über. Keith Richards entschied sich für eine Villa namens Nellcôte in Villefranche-sur-Mer, in der anschließend auch die Aufnahmen für das absolute Meisterwerk der Band, ihr Album Exile On Main Street, stattfanden. Stones In Exile erzählt die Geschichte aus der Sicht der beteiligten Musiker und zeigt umfangreiche Aufnahmen aus dem Archiv der Band während ihrer Abwesenheit in England. Das Bonusmaterial umfasst Interviews mit allen Gruppenmitgliedern Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman und Mick Taylor. Dazu kommt Material von Cocksucker Blues, Aufnahmen von Mick Jaggers und Charlie Watts Rückkehr in die Olympic Studios sowie Einblicke in Jaggers Landsitz Stargroves, wo ein Großteil der Vorarbeiten zu diesem Album stattfanden.
