In commemoration of Hammerfall's ten year anniversary as a record releasing artist, STEEL MEETS STEEL-TEN YEARS OF GLORY features 2-CDs that includes 2 new songs, as well as a re-recording fo an old classic, plus bonus live material.

Track 1-1 is a "previously unreleased track used as intro music for Swedish ice-hockey team". Tracks 1-2, 1-3 and 2-12 are previously unreleased. Track 1-10 recorded live at Liseberghallen, Göteborg, Sweden on February 20th, 2003. Tracks 2-13 and 2-14 recorded at Musikens Hus, Göteborg, 1998. Allthough the line-up is different throughout the tracks, in the booklet the following 5 members have a picture and name full-page; Joacim Cans, Oscar Dronjak, Stefan Elmgren, Fredrik Larsson and Anders Johansson.
