"Last In Line" is the iconic second studio album by Dio, released in 1984 and now available in CD format from renowned manufacturer Wb. This powerful record features classic tracks such as "We Rock," "The Last In Line," and "Mystery," showcasing the band's signature blend of heavy metal energy, melodic hooks, and Ronnie James Dio's legendary vocals. The album solidified Dio?s place among metal royalty with its dynamic songwriting and virtuosic musicianship. As a band, Dio was formed by vocalist Ronnie James Dio after his tenure with Rainbow and Black Sabbath; they quickly became one of the most influential acts in heavy metal history. Their debut album ?Holy Diver? set high standards, which ?Last In Line? impressively upheld?earning gold certification and critical acclaim worldwide. The manufacturer Wb (Warner Bros.) is known for producing high-quality music releases across genres, supporting both established legends like Dio and emerging artists alike.
It is Dio's 2nd studio album. We rock, the last in line, evil eyes is my favorite songs. Ronnie james dio is not tall but his voice is tall and thick. but I don't think he is good composer , if he write with jake e lee, his album will be more legend.

The best album of the great Dio, which became a classic of heavy metal. The second studio album turned out to be better than the previous one, although "Holy Diver" was simply flawless. However, Dio on this release refused to pretentious sound a la Manowar, excessive epicity and accelerated tempo of bass guitars, creating an album of pure heavy, without impurities, whether speed or power (although they are talking about the influence of hard'nheavy and hard ' n'roll, but let me disagree with these stylistic hues). What earned the respect of critics and the love of fans, since it is very difficult to do musical work in one pure key. Without exaggeration, virtuoso guitar moves and absolute vocal raised "The Last in Line" to a level that oh how hard it will be to take even in the 21st century. Somewhere Dio looks like early Judas Priest, but in terms of the quality of information Ronnie overtook his competitors. He worked a lot on the lyrics, from mythology to the present and a look at the future. The development of Dio already in 1984 gave impetus to the promotion of the "Second Wave of British Heavy Metal" and the capture of the market for the then heavy stage. To be honest, I like the first two songs the most, but this is the work of every listener. In that distant year, the album was a real breakthrough.

Although not so powerful as the previous album, The Last in Line is another excellent work in Dio's discography. Here great songs as title track, Egypt... Great record.
