Lisbon by Walkmen, released 20 September 2010, includes the following tracks: "Follow The Leader", "Stranded", "All My Great Designs", "Torch Song" and more. This version of Lisbon comes as a 1xLP. The vinyl is pressed as a opaque disc. -

Vinyl LP pressing. 2010 album from the Alt-Rockers. Lisbon was recorded over the course of eight months beginning in the fall of 2009 with You & Me producer Chris Zane (Passion Pit, Les Savy Fav, Tokyo Police Club). The band then traveled to Dallas to finish the album with producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Explosions in the Sky'). Featuring the band's signature vintage instrument-sound, Lisbon will showcase 'A lot of stuff that's Elvis-sounding, like early Elvis and Sun Records kind of sounds,' says frontman Hamilton Leithauser.

Sebastian D. - 13/Nov/2021 Die Platte ist musikalisch eine meiner absoluten Favoriten. Der Mix kommt auf Vinyl auch etwas transparenter rüber - die Instrumente wirken klar platziert und sie macht Spaß. Leider lässt der Zustand der Platte sehr zu wünschen übrig: Sie kam zwar originalverpackt/versiegelt an, jedoch wellt sie sich sehr stark und auf dem Vinyl befinden sich auf Seite a diverse Dreckschlieren. Sie wellt sich gerade nicht so stark, dass sie springt - wäre aber kurz davor. Schade, da ich mich schon wahnsinnig auf die Lisbon gefreut habe. Ich vergebe trotzdem 3 Sterne, da sie trotz der Mängel hörbar ist und ich hoffe die Schlieren mit der Plattenwaschmaschine rauszubekommen.
