"Sol Austan, Mani Vestan" is a studio album by the Norwegian musical project Burzum, released in 2013. This CD marks a significant departure from Burzum's earlier black metal roots, instead embracing an ambient and atmospheric soundscape inspired by Norse mythology and ancient pagan traditions. The music on this album is entirely instrumental, creating a meditative journey through ethereal melodies and haunting synth layers that evoke the mysticism of Scandinavia?s past. BYELOBOG Productions, the label behind this release, was founded by Varg Vikernes himself to ensure artistic freedom and authenticity for his projects. Known for supporting unique underground artists within dark ambient and black metal genres, BYELOBOG has become synonymous with uncompromising vision in extreme music circles.
