Scot Ray presents an album of avant funk, extreme jazz, liquid Americana and scronk blues - think James Brown meets Sun Ra on a front porch somewhere in rural Montana. This quintet features Nels Cline on electric guitar, Jeff Gauthier on electric violin, Steuart Liebig on bass, Alex Cline on drums, as well as Scot Ray's amazing multiphonic trombone. Scot spent many years touring with the Brian Setzer Orchestra, and has now carved out his own unique niche on the Los Angeles music scene.
