Description:David Morrell's 1972 novel FIRST BLOOD spawned a franchise when the popular Rambo series was launched in '82. The first film was an adaptation of Morrell's book that stars Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo, a rugged Vietnam Vet and former Green Beret who struggles to adjust to life outside the military. He's soon called back into action in this and the other three films RAMBO II, RAMBO III, and RAMBO-included in this collection. The films ultimately turned into a pet project for Stallone, who wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the fourth film in the series, which was shot some 20 years after the third installment.
