Will Bernard has gotten a lot of recognition far outside his San Francisco Bay Area home base. He's a local guitar legend there, a fixture on the scene for two decades - besides putting together the list of players for Party Hats, he had the idiosyncratic, R&B savvy Motherbug bands and the geographically-scattered group Frequinox. Bernard's jazz approach is juicy and sizzling and his multifaceted vision is glued to a groove. Bernard's past work includes Peter Apfelbaum's Hieroglyphics Ensemble and the Grammy-nominated T.J. Kirk Band.
