Raney is backed by the Page 7 (the Page Cavanaugh Septet) on tracks 1 and 9, recorded in 1960-61, the Page Cavanaugh Quartet on tracks 2-5, 7, 8, 16 and 17, also recorded in 1960-61, Shelley Manne And His Men on tracks 6 and 13-15, recorded in 1969 or 1970 and tracks 11, 12 and 18 by the Buddy De Franco / Tommy Gumina Quartet, recorded in 1963.
