Canadian West Coast singer/songwriter Wyckham Porteous and famed British producer Andrew Loog Oldham have joined together in creating a beautifully unique album titled 3am - recorded on Cordova Bay Records in Vancouver, Canada. The album consists mainly of Wyckham's original songs, however, in remembering his days working with the Beatles, Andrew felt this album should include a cover of 'Please, Please Me'. Originally the song was a tribute to Roy Orbison and copied his slow methodical way, of course the version eventually released by the Beatles was considerably more up-tempo. Wanting to pay homage to the roots of the song Wyckham and Andrew set about recording it.
