Previously released in 1982, its Hard was The Who's final studio album, released to coincide with their U.S. Farewell tour. Although not big on the charts at the time of the original release, the song "Eminence Front" has since gone on to be a centerpiece of subsequent concerts by the group. The four live bonus tracks on this reissue all came from that remarkable "farewell" tour. Highlights include "Athena," "Cooks County," "Cry If You Want," "A Man Is a Man" and much more.

Issued in clear standard jewel case with eight-page booklet. Tracks 13-16: Previously Unreleased Bonus Tracks. From booklet: The original tracks (1 to 12) were recorded and mixed at Turn Up-Down Studios at Glyn Johns' home in Surrey in June 1982. The bonus tracks (13 to 16) were recorded live at Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto, Canada on December 16 and 17, 1982. It's Hard was originally released as Polydor WHOD 5066 on September 4, 1982.
