Warm, sprawling, and dazzling, this intimate epic is one of the undisputed masterworks of the new century.
"Yi Yi," directed by the acclaimed Taiwanese filmmaker Edward Yang, is a poignant and beautifully crafted family drama that explores the complexities of modern life in Taipei.
