CD layer contains the original stereo mix for this album. SACD layer contains the multichannel program that comes from the original 96K, 24-bit files mixed and mastered by Bruce Botnick for the DVD Audio Doors/Perception release. Those mixes were made from the original, multi-track, 15 i.p.s. analog master tapes. For the SACDs, the mixes were up-sampled without filters to DSD. Packaged in a Super Jewel Box with an 8-page colour booklet. Some copies have a transparent square sticker on the back: ?Disc Made in Austria?.

The second studio album by the American rock band the Doors, released on September 25, 1967. Upon release, Strange Days reached number three on the US Billboard 200, and eventually earned a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
