The shadowthrone was recorded during May, mixed in June, July and August in Waterfall Studios anno 1994. All music composed August 93 - January 94. All lyrics spring 92 - January 94. Shadowthrone is the second album by Satyricon, and a great album from the 90's black metal. Although using keyboards, Satyricon creates a dense atmosphere, making their sound majestic, epic and brutal.
