Description:Re-issue of Folk Legacy's first album released in 1962 contains the works of traditional North Carolina folk singer/banjo plucker (he played a fretless groundhog hide neck banjo) from whom the song "Tom Dooley" was originally discovered by Frank Warner in 1938. The Kingston Trio later recorded the song & made it a huge hit, and Frank plays it here, using the trio's same version & style.
