Roky Erickson was the voice behind the garage-psychedelic band, 13th Floor Elevators. This CD was compiled from 2 separate recordings, 9 tracks were recorded in Roky's living room in 1984 and the other six at a coffee house in California in 1976.
© 1999 AIM International Music Industries Pty Ltd. "Authorised bootleg" released as part of the 13th Floor Elevators Music Series. Made in Australia Tracks 1 to 9 recorded in Roky's living room in 1984. Tracks 10 to 15 recorded at the Sleeping Lady Cafe in Fairfax, CA., January 12, 1976. The original title of track 2 is "When The Ship Comes In". The original title of track 4 is "To Sing For You". The original title of track 9 is "Honey, Just Allow Me One More Chance". Track 10 is dedicated to Brian Jones (1942-1969) of The Rolling Stones. Track 15 is credited as written by Buck/Pire on the cover, but this is actually a song written by Roky Erickson entitled "May The Circle Remain Unbroken".
