Description:

Digitally re-mastered collection from the Indie Pop band containing their early releases, appearing on CD for the first time. Growing Up Absurd was released as a mini album in 1985, followed by What's in a Word in 1986 and presented here with the Fruitmachine EP. These recordings formed the blueprint for the future of the band. Catchy tunes and Davey's observational lyrics; it is a great place to start realizing the genius of the Brilliant Corners or to simply remind yourself of just how good this band actually were. 18 tracks. Growing Up Absurd mini-album and Fruit Machine EP were themselves combined in 1988 on the LP-only Everything I Ever Wanted. Jims Room should be written as Jim's Room.
