ELO’s music is so different from what many call music today. It uses ancient techniques called “melody” and “harmony” (some of you may have to look up those mysterious terms), avoids all profanity and tells a story in each song. This is not for you if you are a Millennial or younger, because the melodic phrases are more than 2 bars long, which will only try your patience; look elsewhere.
