Intentionally monochromatic photography, starkly filmed decomposing corpses, autopsies and intense interrogations set the tone for this gritty, realistic cop show. It's a police thriller that reveals society's ever-changing codes of law: A dark series with constant and increasing tension. Season 2 begins with a burnt corpse found in the trunk of a car, a seemingly isolated case of urban violence. Prosecutor Pierre Clement, Police Captain Laure Berthaud and examining magistrate Judge Roban investigate the murder and soon find themselves up against the criminal machine that lies behind it.
