Description: | 16 Tracks. LTM is pleased of Idylatry, the fourt solo album by Tuxedomoon bass and efeects wizard Peter Principle. Idylatry features ten new tracks written arraged and produce by Peter, as well as an esoteric cover of the Love / Arthur Lee classic Emotions. Peter describes the set as ' a selection of works custom made for a variety of situatoins and media during the last decade of the Twentieth Century. ' One track, Tunguska, is performed by the occasional outfit Ecco Bravo, and mixed by Tony Maimone of Pere Ubu. The eleven new tracks on Idyllatry run for 62 minutes and the CD incluides a special booklet featuring striking colour and Monochrome images shot by Peter. Peter's first two solo albums appeared on Crammed Discs' acclaimed Made to Measure imprint, Sedimental Jpurney (1986) and Tone Poems (1988). His thrid set, Conjunction, was released by LTM in 1990. Tuxedomoon are currently on tour in the Europe in support of their acclaimed 2004 album Cabin in the Sky (Crammed Discs), and preparing to record a new studio set for release in 2006.The classic fourth album (1984) by new wave avant-electro artist Gina X, now digitally remastered with five bonus tracks (...) 76 minutes of music. Source used is vinyl. Noise has apparently been reduced using a filter, but the result is muffled and lacks treble. Surface noise is still frequently audible. Tracklist matches that of [r=69062] (LP + 12"), except omits "Drive On Film". |
