Description:

Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1992 album from the former Sister Sledge member. Heart showcases her versatility and gave her the opportunity to prove that, now away from the comfort zone provided for so long by being in a group with her sisters, she had the power and drive to firmly establish herself as a great talent in her own right. She worked on the album with an array of producers, in the process allowing each song to have the maximum impact. It also proved that, while she still retained a lot of the values and intrinsic style which had made Sister Sledge so popular, Kathy was also capable of updating her approach, to appeal to a new, younger audience in the 1990s. The most successful tracks here were to be the title song and 'Take Me Back to Love Again'. Both were to prove huge hits in the clubs, with the latter making it to the top of the US dance chart.
