After a bedroom produced debut album released in 2005, Southern Arts Society, the project of ex a Popular History of Signs leader Andy Jarman, has gradually developed into a stable band with four established members. This maturing process has been a key element in creating an organic sound which has led to what is undoubtedly the best album in a personal musical adventure going back over two decades. Apart from the fact that the album includes guest vocals by Gary Olson from the Ladybug Transistor, Roger Quigley from the Montgolfier Brothers / at Swim Two Birds, and French chanteuse Françoiz Breut, it is quite simply a superb collection of songs.
