This 27 track compilation contains the work of clarinetist Jimmy O'Bryant. These Paramount cuts date from 1924-26, and his red hot single "Red Hot Mama" from 1924 is included, as well as "Drunk Man's Strut" and "Washboard Blues". Tracks 1-20 were played by O'Bryant's Washboard Band, and tracks 21-27 were played by O'Bryant's Famous Original Washboard Band. Features Jimmy Blythe, Jasper Taylor, Ruth Coleman, Bob Shoffner and others.
