Description:

2010 release from the Icelandic outfit. Catchy melodies and euphoric compositions constitute Stafr'nn Hákon´s sixth album, Sanitas. The songs are intense and powerful and an adventurous continuation of Stafr'nn Hákon´s last release, Gummi. Stafr'nn Hákon has, through the years, been described as a mix of Post-Rock, lo-fi, Ambient guitar and Electronica. On Sanitas, Stafr'nn Hákon travels to the other side of the sound spectrum, gradually moving further from Electronica, subtle compositions and soothing melodies towards more straight-forward, Rock-orientated compositions.

Limited edition of 1000 packaged in a deluxe, six panel, tri-fold "Old style" Stoughton Press 5" CD mini-jacket with satin finish. Recorded at Daniel's studio, August 2009 & various times 2007-2009.
