Illegal radio antics abound as Crosley Bendix hosts a tumultuous convention for jammers and coins the now-popular term "cultural jamming." This CD version of what was once a cassette-only release includes two other shows from the same mid-?80s time frame: ?Negativland?s 4th of July All-Night Stockholders Picnic,? and ?Body English?- a live jam of President Reagan?s second inaugural address.
The Over the Edge program is history?s longest-running freeform radio show, as heard on Thursdays at midnight on KPFA FM in Berkeley, California since 1981. Originally helmed by the late Don Joyce, and now by Jon ?Wobbly? Leidecker.
