Description:Slim double-CD jewel case with 28-page booklet of liner notes in English with French translation. 'Eidesis II' (1967-III) for 13 instruments recorded on Feb. 23, 1974, at the Edward Johnson Building, University of Toronto. 'Penetrations II' (1969-IV) for winds, strings, keyboards, percussion, with voices, electronic sounds, and electronic extensions recorded on Feb. 15, 1974, at Redpath Hall, McGill University. The electronic tape part was composed at the Electronic Music Centre, Columbia University, New York. 'Un Mundo Imaginario' (1989-II) for choir and electroacoustic sounds recorded on March 10, 1990, at Pollack Hall, McGill University. 'Ontem' (1999-I) for voice, tablas, percussion, electroacoustic sounds, and digital signal processing recorded on May 23, 2001, at Klepko's Recording Studio, Montréal. The text is taken from a book by the Brazilian poet-composer Gil Nuno Vaz. 'Ektenes III' (1995-I) for clarinet, tape, and digital signal processing recorded on Feb. 7, 2002, at the Musée d'Art Contemporaine, Montreal. 'aXents' (2003-I) for instrumental ensemble and electroacoustic sounds recorded on Feb. 4, 2004, at the Musée d'Art Contemporaine, Montreal. The electroacoustic part was created at CCMIX, Paris. All composition titles are set in lowercase throughout the release but are capitalized here, with the exception of 'aXents,' which appears here as it appears on the release. Lanza's name appears lowercase on both discs and in the booklet but capitalized on the booklet front cover.
