Golden Soul was Lao's debut release featuring the Lao Tizer Band [Lao Tizer (piano), Christopher Maloney (bass), Shane Gaalaas (drums), Jeff Kollman (guitar)] and guest appearances by some of the finest musicians on the jazz scene; including David Mann (saxophone) Mino Cinelu (percussion) and Andy Snitzer (saxophone), among others.
