Description:The final recordings from this insanely underrated Chicago punk/garage/power pop combo whose guitarist JOHN GLICK was tragically killed in an auto accident (along with Silkworm's Michael Dahlquist & the Dials' Doug Meis). Includes four unreleased studio tracks along with three live cuts including a cover of a Wedding Present song. All label profits to be donated to the John Glick Memorial Fun.
THIS IS A BENEFIT CD. ALL PROFITS WILL BE DONATED TO THE JOHN GLICK MEMORIAL FUND. The Returnables were born when four guys got together in 1997 to down a case of Huber Bock and cover some Undertones tunes. They came to end on 7/14/05, when guitarist John Glick was killed alongside Silkworm's Michael Dahlquist and The Dials' Doug Meis in a tragic auto collision. But the music goes on. These are the final songs from this insanely underrated Chicago band. 4 studio tracks and 3 live cuts, including a Wedding Present cover.
