Description:

The Stuttgart Chamber orchestra is a professional chamber orchestra from Germany. On this CD they take on the roles of the orphan girls taught by Vivaldi for whom he wrote countless concertos.

On this album, all members of the Stuttgarter Kammerorchester (Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra) take their turns as soloist. The name of the album "7 with One Stroke!" is taken from the Grimm's fairytale "Das tapfere Schneiderlein" / "The Brave Little Tailor". It is his motto he stitched on his belt. The CD comes in a jewel case with a 20-page booklet in EN, DE and FR. It gives information on "Playing Concertante Together" as well as on the orchestra; text by Thomas Seedorf. Recorded 2012, Evangelische Kirche in Reutlingen-Gönningen, Germany (p) and (c) 2013 TACET This CD belongs to the LP TACET L 205 https://www.discogs.com/de/release/8357538-Antonio-Vivaldi-Stuttgart-Chamber-Orchestra-Ariadne-Daskalakis-Concertos, although the two do not share the same name. The vinyl holds only four of the concertos of the same recording.
