 | Description: | Import Blu-ray/Region All pressing. Please note while the feature film is viewable on all Blu-ray players the special features are in Standard Definition/PAL format and will not be viewable on US BR players. In his follow-up to the extraordinary and critically acclaimed film Dog Days, Ulrich Seidl once again takes US on a journey to the dark underbelly of human behavior. Import Export tells two stories which move in diametrically opposed directions. Olga is a young nurse and mother living in the Ukraine who, wanting more from life, seeks an escape from her low-paying job. She finds the answer in the west, in Austria, a land with opportunity and without crippling poverty. Paul is a young Austrian in debt and without work or meaning, but he finds opportunity in the east, on a job with his stepfather setting up video gambling machines in the Ukraine. East and West, Ukraine and Austria, two individual fates, two opposite directions. | | Actors: |
