The "Dvo?ák Festival Orchestra Of New York" was an ensemble which only got together for the event of the "Dvo?ák Day Concert" on September 1997, accompanying the official dedication ceremony of the then recently installed "Dvo?ák Monument" headed by a bronze statue of the composer. The orchester included members of the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Philharmonic, Prague Symphony, NYC Opera, NYC Ballet, Mostly Mozart Festival, and Janá?ek Philharmonic Orchestra.
Issued in standard jewel case, including a 16-page booklet with detailed tracklist, credits, liner notes, short artists bios and acknowledgements. |
